Tremors - Pompeii AD 79


In this immersive session pupils will understand what life was like in the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum in the day leading up to the eruption of Vesuvius. As they step back in time  Pompeii and Herculaneum to discover who they were and role play the day of eruption. 

Iron Age/Celts

Meet Catia, a wise woman from the Iron Age in her hut on the edge of the village.  Pupils take part in helping her as she prepares for winter, by preparing food, trying on clothing, training and preparing medicine. Depending on the length of the session and if your grounds are suitable, we can venture out to forage for plants to be used for medicine.

The celts are coming:

In this session pupils will understand what life was like in the cities of Londinium and Camulodunum leading up to the attack by the Iceni in AD60. They will examine objects to tell them about life in Londinium. As they step back in time to discover who they are and what role they play in early Roman Britain on the day of the Iceni invasion.

For multiple form entry schools we give your pupils a full day experience with a choice a of resourced in-class activities to delve deeper into the life of the ancient British peoples and how archaeologists work to understand them.
